Brazil now has the opportunity to fulfill a dream, emulating the classic scene of Audrey Hepburn having breakfast in front of Tiffany & Co, like in the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's". The Blue Box Café by the Tiffany jewelry brand in São Paulo, Brazil, officially opened on March 27.
According to the São Paulo newspaper "O Estado de São Paulo," in the classic film "Breakfast at Tiffany's," Audrey Hepburn's character, Holly Golightly, stands in front of the Tiffany jewelry store window on Fifth Avenue in New York, having breakfast while admiring the jewelry inside. Now, fans in Brazil have the chance to recreate this iconic scene in São Paulo.
Previously, Tiffany's coffee shops have been established in cities like New York, Mexico City, and Dubai. The Blue Box Café in Brazil is located in the upscale shopping center Iguatemi in São Paulo, decorated in Tiffany blue. It is a temporary pop-up shop, scheduled to operate until April 30.
Reservations for the Tiffany café were in high demand, quickly booking up with even a long waiting list. The café's team has received 3000 inquiries about the operation of the shop or to make reservations.
The café's menu includes three options: breakfast, brunch, and afternoon tea. The "Breakfast at Tiffany's" set menu costs 350 Brazilian Reais per person (450 Brazilian Reais for the caviar set), including beverages and a selection of 11 items such as croissants, scrambled eggs, madeleines, macarons, French layer cake, and tropical fruit yogurt.
Another set menu, "Tea at Tiffany's," costs 500 Brazilian Reais per person, offering items like puff pastry, bagels, and roast beef sandwiches. The "The Audrey" set menu costs 150 Brazilian Reais per person, including butter croissants, handmade red berry jam, beverages like juice, coffee, or tea, and more.
